Lupo Restaurant

It was alright. Come from classic Brooklyn Italian neighborhood so my expectations are high. Saw the advertisement for this restaurant in the tci magazines and recommended by some shop keepers around the regent village. Food was good however, my dish did not come out hot.it was actually between room temperature and somewhat cold. I didn’t send it back because I was starving. Risotto balls were great though. My boyfriend liked his cocktail also. Also, the portions were small for an “Italian restaurant”

The food was like a microwave dinner and it took them 2 hours to serve us. Very rude staff and a very disappointing experience! Go eat at Casa Nonna instead!

Amazing dinner al Fresco! My husband and I enjoyed the antipasti of meatballs which were mouth watering. For dinner I enjoyed the homemade Italian sausage, fennel orecchiette pasta and my husband raves about his pizza! Would highly recommend!

Food: Disappointing, my partner and I tried many of the recommendations from the waitress and unfortunately 2 out of the 4 items were disappointing. We ordered the fries, Lupo house salad, chicken Alfredo, and the ravioli. The fries were a little different but actually how the waitress describe, just not as tasty as I would hope, so no fault to Lupo's. The Lupo salad was delicious and a full salad; no skimpy side salads. The chicken alfredo was basic and not much of anything to rave about. However, the ravioli was disgusting! There was barely any filling nut that didn't matter as they were literally drowned in this brown gravy looking sauce.

Overall: Although, we enjoyed the service and the atmosphere, the ravioli was such a turn off that its unlikely we will return in the future. I wouldn't say it's a string no for others but just a warning to really go over the menu, if you are really wanting to try out the restaurant.

Our waitress was very good, she was the only one working and did a great job. However, the food left much to be desired. I ordered the mahi mahi and it was completely burnt, charred and very tough. I normally never do this but I had to send it back. I got the penne alla vodka instead. It was drowning in sauce and the sauce was weirdly very sweet, but I guess compared to the mahi it was at least edible. My husband ordered a pizza margherita and it was really good. Our appetizer (arancini) was tasty as well. Based on our experience overall, we would not eat here again.

Certainly not what I am used to, coming from the United States. Nothing came with the meal other than the sauce that it was in. I had the mushroom ravioli in truffle oil. It came with five, maybe six, small raviolis. A child's portion. Certainly not worth $25. Everything else is extra, even a piece of Italian bread. Will never return again. Save your money and go elsewhere.

So good, we enjoyed olives for an appetizer and I got pasta with a vodka sauce and added chicken. A nice change from seafood for our vacation.

Inconsistent - on first trip, Homemade pasta was well highlighted in the seafood pasta. Lasagna doesn’t really benefit from homemade pasta or it wasn’t here; if you crave bolognese go instead with the papardelle. In second trip both dishes were volcanic from being microwave or light zapped before serving which destroys the texture of the pasta. Careful Re the bill though - check if service charge on there or not. Also they made a fuss the second time Re us not having a reservation- at 5: 15! It was empty and stayed so throughout our meal.

The pizza here is not good. Small, cheap on the toppings and lacked in flavour. Would order something different if we went back. Staff are nice - that's why it's 2 stars.

Service is fantastic! Lovely group! Food was a little over seasoned for out palette and it mainly because of the choices of ingredients (I.e. Grilled calamari has capers and olives (both salty).

The Alfredo linguine was nice and creamy but, there was a hint of flour… which I know Alfredo sauce does t have in it.

Other than that, the experience is nice.

Our server worked hard, this is not a reflection on her. Food was blah. Ravioli looked like it was swimming in gravy - not very appetizing. My fish was super tough and overcooked. We have a celiac in the family and they didn't get the no gluten/wheat correct and she was sick all night. Disappointed all around.

Amazing! We are staying next door and decided to order takeout. We ordered for pick up and the food was ready within 15 minutes. We had the Lupo salad and the Funghi Pizza. Both were amazing, but I must say the pizza was to die for! We are in TCI for the next two weeks and will definitely be back to Lupo's.

Solid corner Italian restaurant well located in the Grace Bay Area. Prices were reasonable and service was courteous and speedy.

This restaurant was extremely dissapointing. Based on the reviews, we were expecting something above subpar food. The garlic bread was bone dry and tasted freezer burned, the pasta sauce was so sweet it tasted like it was a dessert, the penne tasted like it was out of a box, the cheese in the lasagna either tasted expired or like it had been sitting uncovered in the fridge for days, and all of the dishes tasted like they had been pre-frozen and microwaved. Even though the lasagna was sent back for making my friend sick, they tried to charge us for it and made a huge deal out of comping the bill. The server was standoffish and there were only excuses made for the food, with not even a semblance of an apology. I'm absolutely astonished that anyone would rate this place more than 1 star.

Food was alright if you don’t mind it being bland. Fettuccine Alfredo tasted like they forgot to season it. The Rigattoni a la vodka was alright but the size was like from a kids menu. The pizza is probably the best tasting thing here and that’s not saying much. Customer service was non existent.

We ordered food to go and it was delicious! We got the lobster fra diavolo and the Mahi Mahi. That was cooked perfectly. The fra diavolo wasn't too spicy, pasta was amazing, and the sauce was delicious. We will definitely get food from there again.

Made a mistake on order - went above and beyond to make it right to accommodate my wife’s gluten allergy

Very disappointed with this place especially after seeing such great reviews. Our waitress was hardly there and and was not professional. Ordered a pizza with no olives (confirmed with her more than once) and when the food came there were olives on it. I told her about she took it back and about 15 minutes later they bring it back. After eating about 2 slices and clearly tasting like olives I looked and there was a till a few. Obviously they just tried to pick them out themselves. Then she made a big deal of us wanting to split the bill. Honestly the food was bland as well. If you’re looking for a nice place with great views and amazing food check out Las Brisas.

Mouth watering addicting original Italian food! The service here was phenomenal! The team went out of there way to make sure our drinks were virgin drinks! Any mistakes that occur they will definitely make up for it! No mistakes happened on this end! I want to give a shout to the whole team! Thank you!

Update: we've been here twice more on other trips and it's still one of our favorite places.

Our best meal on the island was at an Italian restaurant! Who would have thought? The good was great, lots of options and everything was tasted really well made and authentic. Friendly service. The patio was really pretty. The best arincini I've ever had!
