Sui Ren Restaurant

This restaurant has a really nice setting and great menu. The restaurant is clearly very busy and has a great reputation.
However perhaps this reputation leading to a full book has made the restaurant become complacent.
Our reservation time was incorrect by 3 hrs even through I made the booking in person
The wait staff were friendly but were pushy for speed of service even though it was not busy. The first question after the menu was dropped off was if we wanted to order. I was still completing my appetiser when they were wanting to place the entree. This could have been avoided if they actually called for entree at right time or if they saw me still eating - take it back to the kitchen. I advised them that this was not how you serve people. They did not really care.
For all drinks and meals they asked who had what. There was only two of us and this also showed a lazy approach to service.
In top of service insult there was a compulsory 15% service. Charge.

So expensive for what it is but you also do pay for what it's is.
The place looks amazing.

Gorgeous setting with friendly staff and great food. The shore club grounds are stunning. Our waiter Eddy was very attentive and sweet. Our food came out super fast and everything was delicious. The tuna ceviche, mahi and apple tartin were the highlights. Will definitely be back!

Great ambience, bad food: the miso soup that my husband and me both ordered was extremely over salted, the waiter and manager apologized and brought us back same soup diluted with hot water (I never thought that miso soup was a complicated dish) and then my husband’s rib eye steak was so over salted they had to bring another steak which was just blend.would not come back

Food sucks service lol what service no one ever even asked if we wanted anything I had to keep waving the waiters down to ask for water and to make a order I can’t believe this place is in a 5 star hotel 0 stars and food sucks

The ambiance was amazing and the staff were so friendly/professional. The service was phenomenal. The food tasted so fresh and came out very quickly. This was a top choice in the resort to dine in at!

Beautiful restaurant and exceptional service. The real issue is the food is mediocre at best. I wish I could give it more but honestly had it not been for the atmosphere and service I would give it a 1.

During our week long vacation I was really looking towards dinning at Sui Ren. Upon arriving to the restaurant the decor and atmosphere was stupendous and elegant. We began the night with a drink at the bar while we waited for the table. The bartenders hit the mark with each drink we ordered. When it came time to sit and have our meal I was unfortunately disappointed. We ordered sparking water, two vodka martinis with kettle one, edamame, two entrees and one desert for the evening. The only thing that was exceptional was the edamame.

For $275 I expected way better quality food. We went to Fish Fry and got two entrees for $35 that had way better quality.

If looking somewhere nice, elegant and with good food and service this is the place and JOSEPH is the server. Joseph is very attentive and full of manners with a warm smile. Give good recommendations and suggestions when time to order and answered all our questions about the menu that he is well knowledgeable of.

Very high class restaurant. I loved the sushi selections. They also had other main dishes. Each had Asian flairs. Service was a little slow

Amazing restaurant with welcoming and professional staff. We had dinner at Sui Ren twice and our expectations were surpassed. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the island interested in a memorable culinary experience. Personal favorites: volcano sushi and sweet potato donuts.

Nice atmosphere but terrible overpriced food. Sushi was grocery store quality and small portions.

Food was just fine, really nothing to write home about. I would compare the sushi to a grocery store and the salmon sashimi tasted like lox.

I’m giving this 4 more because I don’t really want to harm the people that work there and that resort/space is beautiful. Nice staff but I don’t think it’s worth the price.

Went there multiple times in mid-January, beginning of busy season. Service is very hit-or-miss depending on if you are with an experienced server. Our first visit we were taken well care of, our last visit we sat for long periods with empty drinks and empty plates without seeing anyone, and items were misdelivered to boot on a night that was not especially busy.

Don’t get me wrong, the food and cocktails are great. While the best sushi on TCI won’t be the best sushi you’ve ever had, it is a great meal to treat yourself to. If you show up willing to be patient with glacial, misplaced service, you’ll enjoy the meal.

This place couldn’t be more perfect, my fiancé took me here to celebrate a special occasion, and everything from the drinks- food- to the service was outstanding. You get the quality you pay for. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Wonderful meal, beautiful place, excellent service. HOWEVER: Our cocktails were billed at $4 over the price stated on the menu, with tax and service charged on top of the inflated price. Our server could not explain this to our satisfaction, and would not revise the bill. A very bad way to end an otherwise wonderful meal. I’d welcome an explanation from the restaurant, and will update this review accordingly.

First off the setting is BEAUTIFUL. You walk into the hotel lobby and you can immediately feel the luxury and stunning architecture and interior design. You then have to stroll for a few minutes through more beautiful areas before arriving at the hotel. The setting for the Sui Ren hotel is really lovely too. The food was very good, they have a kids menu and the prices are not that bad for this kind of place in Turks. Definitely not a total rip off like some other places.

We went for dinner with a group of friends. Highly advised to make reservations. Online you can only make reservations for max 6 people, if your group is larger, you have to call to reserve. We had some edamame, sushi, ceviche, cauliflower to start. The cauliflower was delicious with a curry sauce. For the entree i had the 12 oz rib eye which was also very good. For dessert we had the sweet potatoe donuts and the lava cake. 7 people, 2 bottles of wine was around $975
