Sixt Car Rental

We recently rented an economy car (Mitsubishi Mirage) with Sixt at PLS airport and it was perfect! Check in was quick (we waited for them to serve the couple ahead of us) and then we were escorted to the car that was ready in the lot right at the airport. Upon return, the Sixt team members awaited our arrival at the airport and quickly checked over the car and we were on our way! No issues at all - and best of all affordable hassle free prices!
When renting on an island remember to not expect the best of the best…leave that for a different trip. A small economy car will safely get you from point A to B and it will be easier to navigate while you adjust to left sided driving!

- Almost no line and very quick service for both pick up & drop off
- We got a flat tire during our rental period and Sixt sent somebody to fix it immediately. They arrived within 20 minutes and had the tire completely fixed within an hour of calling for support.
- Traveling with babies/children so we found it REALLY helpful that Sixt was onsite at the airport - no shuttles!
- Extremely kind staff

Arrived for my rental and was told I had reserved the last car given it was the busy Christmas week. Unfortunately for $130 a day I was given a piece of junk compact, possibly a 20+ year old Mitsubishi. The car was super old, had (big) dents and scratches on all sides of the car, and would sometimes stall out and die when idling. Also the steering mechanism was questionable and borderline unsafe. This car should not have been out on the road honestly. Shame on Sixt for allowing this car to be rented out.

When I come back to Providenciales and need a car rental I know exactly who I will choose. The car rental was ready in a timely manner when I arrived Tuesday, no issues. I only rented the car initially for 4 of the 6 days I was there for with plans to return it Saturday at 9 am and just using a cab for the last 2 days. I decided I was going to need the car rental for the remaining 2 days later on so I booked another reservation online with plans to return the new car rental on Monday at 10 am, my departing flight was at 5 pm. I brought the car back as planned at 9 am Saturday and told the agents there, named Mary Ann Baguio and Marraey Samarita, that I reserved another one that I was going to need for my last 2 days with the reservation stating to return it Monday at 10 am when I depart. They said no problem just keep the same car and you can return any time before 3 pm on Monday when you fly out. I was like wow… Okay thank you so much. This certainly made my day, we chatted a little bit and I greatly appreciated this hospitality from them. I brought the car back Monday before 3 pm as planned and didn’t have to wait long for my 5 pm flight back home. I wished Mary Ann a big thank you and Happy Holidays and was on my way. Because of this, for sure I will rent a car from them once again the next time I’m in Providenciales if I need one! Thank you once again Mary Ann and Marraey and I’ll see you all next time! - Nolan

Rented a car for a week during the recent stay at Providenciales. Sixt is the best place to rent from! Their counter is right at the airport, paperwork takes 5 minutes and the car was brought in to the arrivals in another two minutes. Mary Ann runs the operations for Sixt at PLS airport and she makes sure every client walks away satisfied. I would give her 6 stars if I could! The car itself was a brand new Kia SUV with just a thousand kilometers on it! You can’t ask for a better ride. Highly recommend Sixt!

Super friendly and helpful staff. Immaculate car which was a pleasant surprise. Lot is just a few steps from the airport terminal. Remember to drive on the left and get ready for the roundabouts!

Needed a car rental for one day to transport Providenciales on short notice as another car rental place was also terrible.

The office manager proceeded to state there were no other rental cars available and that for one night, we had to rent a car for $270.00, and it was the only one available. When getting in the car, the entire parking lot was filled with rentals. I thought well maybe they are reserved or scheduled. I later checked the website and found that there were several more affordable rentals available, and she had me rent the most expensive car in the lot.

Providenciales is filled with terrible, slimy rental car companies, including Sixt. Rent a car in advance and make sure you call and run through all the possible what ifs if you want to potentially travel around Provo.

Great Car last minute renting and the lady was super nice, NO deposit which is great and it was a good price for a good car, all the others where young a pretty fiesty lol, and the lady came to rescue men a went directly to show my car before use, pass inspection and truly 0 trouble.

This picture gives you an indication of the car given to us. When greeted on arrival with this we asked if there were any others available to which the response was no. This car shouldn’t even be road legal, the tyres were bald, the brakes hardly worked and the windows didn’t open either. It was completely dangerous to be driving this, I’m shocked that Sixt staff think that this is an appropriate vehicle to offer as a rental.

Representative in the terminal was very friendly and brought us directly to the Jeep we rented. The air conditioner was on and the vehicle was clean. Dropped off Jeep at the terminal and another excellent Sixt employee was waiting for us. I wish I remembered her name because we forgot a bag and she ran to catch us to return it. Excellent in every way! Thank You again.

Sixt was the absolute worst experience. After booking our car weeks in advance, we landed in T&C only to find out they don't have any vehicles available for us. No one contacted me to let me know. Once we get there, Sixt randomly had a 3rd party (very horrible car rental) company give us one of their cars. I paid for a full size sedan but they gave me a beat up car where once we started driving, the under tray of the car came off and was scraping the road amongst other issues. I immediately turned back and they brought me another car, and this time the entire front of the car was severely damaged from an accident. I cannot believe Sixt would allow this kind of business. Needless to say I asked for a refund and was lucky to find another vehicle with Avis and had a wonderful experience with them.

We rented a minivan for a week in August and they had a counter right at the airport and the car was right in the airport parking lot. The car was clean and we had no issues with it during our stay. I called customer svc during the week to find out if we had to remove all of the sand from the car because they of reviews I’ve read of other car rental companies charging for sand in the car and luckily they told us that we didn’t have to. They also gave us clear instructions about how to return the car (right at the airport). Everything could not have gone smoother. Special thanks to MaryAnn who helped us with our rental. She was super friendly and helpful.

Great experience! We got an automatic manual Datsun but it was fine for what was needed. I would rent here again. 5 stars.

This review is for the Providenciales airport location. Excellent, friendly customer service. Spotlessly clean, relatively new (2018) vehicle with leather seats and very minimal exterior damage. Seamless pickup and drop off at the airport. I’m so happy I went with this company instead of another. I first called Grace Bay Car Rentals with some questions about their available vehicles (we were bringing a car seat so I had important questions) and I was responded to as if I was an annoyance (p.s. I am very polite). I called Sixt and the representative answered the phone before she even got to the office and called me back promptly upon her arrival to the office to happily answer all of my questions and book the vehicle for us. I highly recommend renting with them!

Also want to add that the car we rented looked TEN TIMES BETTER than most of the other rental cars I spotted in the parking lot and road with other rental company stickers.

Sixt was great on our recent trip to Providenciales. It was easy to browse, select, and reserve a car online, the prices were very reasonable, and the staff was responsive and helpful. The reservations desk was easy to spot right through customs in the airport, and the vehicle was bright to us outside in the driveway. Only complaint was that the model we reserved (left-hand drive) had been damaged, so we were instead given a slightly smaller right-hand drive model. Ended up working out ok, after an adjustment period, but the radio/navigation head unit was in a foreign language, so we couldn't use it at all. The car was in pretty good shape inside and out, but did make funny noises as we drove (it could have been the cable ties holding on two of the hubcaps that were rubbing on something). We'd definitely rent from Sixt again, if given the chance!

The Sixt location in Providenciales is great. The staff there provides exceptional service. They are friendly, helpful, and attentive. Some of the cars are a bit rough which is why I could not give 5 stars. Mine had over 60K miles, made terrible noises when you hit the brakes or went over a speed bump no matter how slow you went. I could not have been happier with the people though. This was my 3rd time renting in Turks and Caicos and I would recommend them over any of my previous rentals for convenience and service.

They have the most friendly employees of all car rentals. All thanks to Miriam and the other girls.
SIXT kiosk is located at the airport. Just besides the exit door.
Car is parked at airport parking lot. (Very close)
The paperwork is quick. And trouble free.
They have very good prices.
They aren’t pushy like many other rentals (this is very important to me)
Return is very quick! One minute. In and out.
I am highly recommending this rental company.
