If you're waiting to pick up people from the airport this is the spot to satisfy your appetite and kill time.

Visited twice in an 8 day period

I got the jerk chicken. I loved the way they cooked the plantains. I also chose to sit out in the water and it was a lovely experience.

Enjoyed Conch chowder & Jetk chicken & plantains. Excellent vibe, recorded background music. Friendly servers, beach views. We’ll be back!

Food was great! We had the cracked conch and tacos which were amazing and plenty of food for two. My daughter loved the breaded chicken wings. Rum punches were awesome, as was the view. My only complaint is that we were charged a 20% service charge (after research, it legally should be no more than 10%) that we were not told about. And we were told this after we added 20% gratuity. They should inform you of the service charge. Our $103 bill ended up being $169 with their service charge and our gratuity. We questioned it after we did the math when it didn't add up. We didn't fight it, but had that not happened, I would have given 5 stars.

Wonderful stop for lunch with a great view of the bay. The fish tacos were delicious with a local beer, Ain't Gona Lie.

Oxtail with rice and peas and plantains was phenomenal. I enjoyed every bite. Food came out hot and was extremely flavorful. Location is on beach that offers jetski.

Omar’s is truly a special experience. I went last week and was surprised to meet Omar himself! The nachos were our favorite item - their salsa is amazing! We also had the fish tacos and ox tail with rice and peas. We were super stuffed afterward, the portions were great and the staff was super friendly and attentive. As a bonus Five Cays Water Sports is at the same location, and after our lunch we had an amazing jet ski ride. 10/10 would recommend and will certainly return.

Went to Omars for lunch and it did not disappoint! Food was excellent with great service. The view was awesome as well! Well worth the trip!

Omar's is a fantastic little off-the-beaten-path restaurant worth going out of your way to visit!

The service is good, the drinks are strong and tasty, the food is amazing, the view is gorgeous and Omar himself is a great guy! He makes sure you feel welcome and taken care of.

Lobster roll was good. Jerk chicken, blackened with a thick spicy rub as was the jerk pork. Chicken was dry and pork was very fatty and salty. Drinks are pricey. Great. Outdoor environment and live music was great.

Omar is the real deal. Incredible vibes, hospitality - and the best food we've had on the island.

We ate lunch here on suggestion from Russ the owner of island life jeeps that we rented our jeep from. At first we were a little hesitant because it’s in a seemingly rundown part of town. The road to Omar’s is probably the most potholed stretch of road I’ve ever driven on.
But we are glad we went. The locals are polite and pleasant people, and once you get to Omar’s and sit down the restaurant is clean and comfortable, great staff, and the view from the restaurant is amazing. Omar made it a point to stay present during the day and stop by each table, ask how the food was, and introduce himself.
We had the jerk chicken, I can’t recommend enough.
Whatever you have planned on your itinerary, make sure you include going to Omar’s and getting the best jerk chicken on the island!
I promise you won’t regret it.

We had an amazing experience on yesterday. The server, Rebecca was AMAZING! The food and service were above average. The drinks were amazing and Omar himself came out and intros himself and confirmed that we were very well taken care of.

One of the best grilled fish I've ever tasted, nice and clean dinning area with excellent hospitality, you won't regret.

This should be your first night out if you're visiting and don't know where to start. The vibe is local and the food is amazing - definitely better than what you'll find on the tourist strip in Grace Bay. The owners are truly warm and wonderful folks. They even helped us find a phone we dropped in the parking lot. Looking forward to returning.

Staff is super friendly and the environment is great and super clean. The food was another level. 100% recommend it

The food was so good we came back a 2nd time before heading to the airport. The conch salad was a generous portion, fresh & light. Sweet potato fries & sweet plantains were also very yummy. Hubby had the jerk fish. Served in a foil packet so you can add your rice in to soak up all the decadent flavors. Nice beach side seating. Warm staff who we had a chance to talk to about TCI living. The first time as we were leaving a guy had just parked next to us & motioned to roll the window down. He asked how the food was & my husband started raving how great it was. The guy smiled, bowed his head & hands & introduced himself as Omar & thanked us for our support. The area may appear a bit sketchy but don’t let that deter you. Many people seemed to be repeat customers & we see why. Next time we come back to TCI we will definitely return!

Excellent service … great view of the water. Had the conch fritters for the first time ever… it was served fresh and just delicious. I have had better Jerk chicken though … all in all it was a great experience

The owner met us when we walked in very personal and such a nice gentleman. The food was good and the view was good. We were there during low tide but I guess at high tide you can sit at the benches in the water. Very fun atmosphere

By far the best blackened fish (red snapper) I’ve had on the island. My husband also couldn’t stop mmmm’ing at every bite of his grilled fish burger. Moreover, the location of this restaurant is absolutely perfect — right on the water allowing for the fresh breeze to run through your hair. There is some dirt road you have to drive through to get there, though. But Omar’s Beach Hut is worth it.
