64 Ordered two cocktails, Coke and two waters. Those came within a reasonable time frame. Placed a food order for oxtail and jerked chicken entrees. Waited over 30 minutes for the server to tell us they ran out of oxtail and their kitchen is busy from Friday night take out orders.
Paid for the two cocktails and left this joint promptly.
Get it together Chinsons though I will never return. Worst service I've received on the island during my 8 day stay.
And its not a hyperbole, the aboslute worst
We stopped by during our vacation and the food here has to be the top of our list of the best food we had while here in Turks and Caicos! Everything on this platter was cooked to perfection.literally. And we are people who must have well seasoned food while not being over seasoned. Chinson's hit the target for sure. The ginger drink was made in house with real actual ginger.it was so good! This will be our go to whenever we visit Turks.
Enjoyed my meal! For lunch we had a platter that included jerk pork/chicken, shrimp, festival, bread, rice and peas, and coleslaw. All were delicious! We were taken to this restaurant by a friend of my late dad. We came back the next morning and had the cocoa bread and cheese. The cocoa bread was the best I have ever had! Staff were friendly and so were the owners. If you’re in the area I definitely recommend stopping by. We will definitely come back here on our next trip.
My family & I went here on our vacation and we loved it so much, we went there the next day! 100% would recommend anyone to go here if you’re in the area visiting. The staff and owner were super welcoming and very pleasant!
5-star service all around! The best patty & cocoa bread, shrimp, jerk chicken, jerk pork, plantains! We had an opportunity to meet the owners who were very personal, professional, and friendly! Thank you for a great dining experience! I will definitely visit again when I come back to Turks & Caicos!
The food was delicious and has an amazing outside dining view. Thank you for making our experience enjoyable
Had drove past it a ton of times. Loved the location, intrigued by menu. Finally night before flying home 2nd trip there, had to know.
Food was amazing. Ambiance was great. Bartenders weren't so so friendly. Had a frozen beer served to me. No worries. It thawed out before server returned. An item ordered was missed, in just attempting to get it, get told we did not order cuz when she repeated order we didn't say anything. Told her, if you say a plate comes with that and the sides you name, us adding another side, is just that, adding ANOTHER SIDE. One thing about TI.all service employees kick in the happy when they drop check. Tip recovery is funny. Definitely will visit again. The view at sundown, spectacular to say the least.
Best seasoned fries on the island my dish of choice is jurk pork and fries the wait time on food could be improved but overall when in doubt you safe here
Delicious! Pictured are the wings and the meat patties. We also had the Spare Ribs, Jerk Chicken. Everything tastes amazing! Amazing views on the patio.
Wonderful drinks and very friendly staff. It's in a nice location we didn't eat there but I have a feeling they have some pretty good bar food.
The best food in Provo! We have been visiting for years and Chinson’s is by far the best food and experience on the island and best Pina Coladas!
Food was gluten free. Service was prompt and helpful. You can also order pastries like meat patties. One of the best/better rice and peas we had on the island, ordered extra to-go. Chicken was also very flavorful and prepared fresh.
Resturant is off main road, can be hard to find entrance if you are not looking. Main entrance, take left onto road before the restaurant to drive up a hill and park. If you miss it there will be a dirt lot to park in and you can climb up the stairs to the restaurant.
If you want Conch Fritter and Jerk chicken/pork. This is the place! A Jamaican/Chinese foods with bar where you can chill and relax.
Excellent food, atmosphere, owner, and staff! We ate there twice and enjoyed both meals thoroughly. The Jamaican Curry goat and the Stewed Ox Tails are delicious! Can't wait to go back!
In my opinion, best local food on the island! Awesome portions, very reasonably priced compared to other places. We had the jerk chicken and the fish and chips - both of which were fantastic. Can’t wait to go back and try everything else! This will definitely be our go to.
Best jerk chicken ever! Casual but cute and clean spot. We went after a beach day in our sandy clothes and sat outside on the picnic benches. The server was kind and helpful. The owner also came to great us and make sure everything was going well. Really great guy. The food was AMAZING! Had the jerk chicken plate, the chicken was delicious, the rice was great, and the portions were huge. The jerk sauce was really tasty. We also ordered the Mac and cheese, unbelievably good. The plantains were also delicious. Ended up being one of our bests, and cheapest meals in TCI. Highly recommend.
Chinson's was awesome. The jerk chicken fell off the bone, the Jamaican beef patties were beyond authentic, the fish and chips may honestly be the best I've ever had. Happy Hour had drink deals and the portions were huge. We left stuffed and happy.
Food was alright. The jerk chicken is average and my wife had the shrimp skewers which were decent. When we got the check she asked if I wanted to tip on the card. I asked about the 12% service charge and she said she didn't know what that was it is a question "for the boss man". Pretty sure it was the usual island gratuity already added. Either way I gave her an additional 10% to make it 22% total as I always tip around that and guessing she was just playing dumb (I try to assume good intent). Just didn't sit right with me either her boss screwing the workers or her trying to get more from customers.
Food was delicious, especially if you were looking for the local cuisine. The staff was nice and even let us dine in late considering they were getting ready to close.
I LOVE IT HERE this is the only restaurant that I couldn't stop thinking about after leaving Turks. I went with a group of four and we all ordered the Oxtail dish with a side of rice and peas and plantains. Soo good! We also ordered beef patties as an appetizer.those beef patties almost convinced me to move to Turks and Caicos. Everything was flavorful and cooked to perfection. I'm sorry, I do not have a pic, only a video but just Go! Also! We went on an off season so it was easy to get a table, but I know on busy seasons you would definitely need to plan in advance. Customer service was also great!
