Bohio Dive Resort

Bohio is permanently closed. The business went into liquidation in Summer of 2023. They took our booking in the Spring, and it was only by catching a legal notice in a spam folder that we found out that our prepayment was forfeit.

This was recommended for seafood. Ultimately restaurant was a bit of a tourist trap with high prices and lackluster food. As an alternative, we We would recommend stopping by one of the local fish markets where you can pick up fresh catch and cook it up yourself. Otherwise the location of the restaurant is beachside which is a clear advantage over some of the more centrally located dining spots.

Didn't stay but dinner and drinks were great. Tuesday is "movie on the beach" night. Really cool. Projector screen on the beach showing the latest movies. Themed buffet dinner (Italian, Chinese, etc). They also have a local band play on Saturday nights. Highly recommended.

To say Grand Turk is heaven on earth would be an understatement. Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos Islands and fell in love instantly. It is such a beautiful, peaceful, quiet little island. The Diving is incredible and the views were to die for!

I can not speak to the dive experience, but the facility and service provided by Bohio are exemplary. This is what a resort is meant to be.

4 stars for the room because of one small waste basket and limited electrical outlets. The housekeeping staff did empty waste and gave us fresh towels daily.

What a place! We stayed here for 5 nights and despite the weather it was paradise! We managed 6 of our 8 scheduled dives which we were so pleased with given some of the weather we had at the start of the stay. The food here was brilliant. My girlfriend was vegan and whilst options were limited (like with much of the TCI) they were able to cater. The cocktails are excellent here too This is such a chilled and friendly resort.

The dives were incredible and in the 6 dives we saw a huge variety of fish including barracuda, reef shark, butterfly fish and parrot fish to name a few. We also saw a monster green moray eel and a turtle! This place helped make our trip once in a lifetime!

We spent the week on a dive trip and had a great time. Our DM, DJ, made the trip for us! He was safe and attentive, but let us, as more experienced divers, enjoy the dives in our own way. The big dive boat was a great place to dive from. The reef and wall were nice, but you can tell the hurricane did impact them in a negative way. We saw sharks everyday and a lot of other life. If you are going to shore dive, be prepared to have a really long swim back to shore. It is not like Bonaire or other places with a quick in and out.

The resort was really nice. It was simple and comfortable. It does need a bit of upgrading in a few areas, but not too bad. The outdoor bar/eating area was perfect for visiting at night. The drinks were really well put together. The meals were excellent!

The owners really took care of us after our flights were delayed two days (thanks American.) Tom made sure to get us 'caught up' on the number of allocated dives and we appreciated the effort.

I wish I could give it 4.5 stars. If you are just there to dive, it is worth it. There is not much else on Grand Turk to see/do.

Great dive crew. Diving is typical carribean wall diving. Good but not great.
Restaurant is good, and portions are huge. The all inclusive plan includes breakfast and lunch, and that's plenty for a day. If you order pizza for dinner, it is large enough to serve 2. But there are better restaurants on the island.
Rooms are nice. No safe in room, but the place is quiet and strangers noticed. Never felt like my possessions were in jeopardy. Lower rooms can be noisy, as floors let through noise and footsteps from room above.
Great all around resort with a beautiful beach. Solid 4 stars, but not quite worthy of 5.

The front desk person Tom is superrrrrrr nice he explained to us (first time visitors) every detail about the island and entertainment and we agreed on a booking for snorkeling. The owner changed plans because the diving boat had a problem and then she didn’t explained what happened and just told me is my hotel is my boat is not available and it does not matter what we offered before. God gives opportunities to the wrong people to show them a lesson. This lady will soon learn hers.

We ate at Bohio Dive Resort several times during our time on Grand Turk, and the experience was always great! The food is consistently good, the staff is attentive, and they keep things fun through regular events (live music, parties, movie nights). Best of all - this place is always open! We were staying elsewhere on the island, and it was sometimes challenging to find open restaurants in the evenings. Bohio consistently came through.

This a 5 star dive resort. We had a great time. The food is surprisingly good, they bring in a variety of live music most nights and they have a fun bar. The rooms are clean, basic with great views. Grand Turk is a very quiet island. This place is an oasis. Another nice thing is that locals come to the resort to dine and dance as well. In terms of diving, the boat is really nice. Jason the primary dive master is excellent. The fish life is fun; sharks, turtles, octopus, pufferfish, pet groupers, morays, etc…. Most dives are around 60-70’. Hanging out with the other divers was really nice as well. Nobody was glued to their electronics.

The setting is one of the nicest on the island. We only had drinks. You will pay higher prices than other places

Resort was cozy, clean and awesome! Food was delicious, staff was friendly and helpful, diving was amazing and fun and wonderful! I had a great time and am looking forward to coming back!

We have been for breakfast and barbecue Saturday night with live music! All the food was perfect.local fish local lobster, steaks and very good side! The location awesome! We will back soon!

Top 5 of my diving vacations. Staff is friendly, attentive and make you feel quite at home. Jason and Pablo as guide and safety diver are incredible, you guys rock. Tim as our captain did a great job and is a wealth of information if you are interested in local history. Lastly but not least, owners Tom and Ginny are hands on and will take care of anything you need. This was my first visit but far from my last. Until I see your smiling faces again, be well and just breathe.

What can we say- I’d personally love to keep this gem a secret but feel compelled to leave a review. From the attentiveness of the dive crew to the welcoming staff, we can honestly say it was one of our favorite vacations ever. Owners Ginny and Tom were so welcoming and attentive and truly know what they are doing. All their arrangements for our family of 5 came off without a hitch. DJ and Pablo were amazing - they went above and beyond taking care of all of our dive needs and making our kids’ first dive experiences unbelievably magical. Henry enthusiastically and professionally guided our 3 children through their open water certification all done in the shallow clear water right off the beach steps from the dive shop and our rooms. It was so nice to have the plethora of incredible dive sites available only a short boat ride away- after two tank dives, we could relax and enjoy the beach, go snorkeling, or use the paddle boards and kayaks. The rooms were clean and offered beautiful views. It was truly a relaxing week with all of our needs taken care of by the very friendly staff. The food was very good with my final Conch chowder in a real half conch shell leaving me a memory I will savor for a long time. Thank you Bohio, you will see us again!

Went to the restaurant. Fantastic spot on the water, romantic, delicious hot food, great Cabernet, friendly staff, accepts credit card.
